Resilience.

This summer our family drove through some favorite places in California, including Carmel. We went to visit the famous Lone Cyprus tree, on a foggy, chilly day there. When I look at it, I see strength despite the storms. It’s still there!

Perhaps you’ve survived a tremendous challenge recently and are looking for some ideas about making your life whole once more. Or you are searching for resources to improve your family’s journey in the midst of a difficult time. You are in the right place. This is a safe haven amidst the storms in life to find ideas that will be life-giving, bringing new hope and keeping your anchors in tact while you persevere.

Resilience has two interesting definitions in Webster’s dictionary.

  1. The ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity.
  2. The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.

After weathering some significant storms in our family, we’ve had to develop both kinds of resilience. Hopefully I can offer a few short-cuts so your journey toward finding joy is a bit shorter.

Come back for practical insights, hope-filled nuggets, gem-inspired insights, and faith-filled blessings to bring you more resilience along the way.
